The main character in our movie poster is a girl named Alex. Her friend Jean is not in the poster but is in the trailer itself. She is standing by the water looking out at the waves. With a board in hand, she starts heading into the water.
The movie title is called, "Getting over it". We named our movie trailer that because of how Alex gets through her problems and overcomes her fears of the ocean. The poster also shows the list of all the actors names and different reviews by different companies and businesses. The rating is also on the movie poster, which is "G". Kerning is about adjusting the letters size and spacing, so that it makes the letters look like there popping off the page. Using kerning will add a nice look to the letters which in my opinion will improve the overall movie poster.
The overall impact that all of the layer effects and filters that I added created a nice touch to it. If I hadn't added those different effects I think that it would look really plain and bland. The effects make it look really unique and different. I think my final movie poster image is alright.
